There is something so romantic to me about a wedding elopement. Each elopement I have done, the bride and groom seem to be more in the moment for each passing minute. They truly say they are doing this for them, and not for others. No matter the desire behind whisking each other away to say "I do" this sweet couple was a dream to work with. They were so calm, laid back and extremely happy to be in love, and to have their four sons there with them. Susan laughed at every little joke Dan made, and Dan looked at Susan like she was the most beautiful woman he'd ever seen. This couple was so easy for the camera to capture because of their genuine love and affection for each other. They didn't want all the glitz and glam of flowers, an arbor and everything else that come with a big wedding. And for this couple, it was the perfect choice.
Susan, from the moment we first talked on the phone, I knew I was going to feel like I was capturing a friends wedding and that is exactly how I felt. I was so happy to see you marry your prince charming and to find your happily ever after. Thank you for allowing me to be there with you and Dan, and to also give your sons a hard time when they needed it. :)
Now let's talk about that sunset! I mean seriously, a good sunset is a dream come true for any beach wedding photographer, and our sunsets here on 30A rarely disappoint. From the moment we stepped out on the beach these beautiful colors illuminated the sky and our emerald green waters were showing off for the camera, as subtle waves danced onto shore. I didn't want this sunset to end!
