The story of how I became Lindsay and Brent's wedding photographer is a fun one! Over the summer I took some family photos of a family from Ocala, FL. Their 4 year old son, Rhett was exploding with personality and charm which caused me to post some of his images to Facebook. Lindsay is friends with that family and saw their images on Facebook and immediately emailed me saying she "had to have me". There were a ton of details to figure out with travel involved and it began to be a little over budget compared to their original photography plan. So she emailed me saying she had to "give me up". I was so disappointed because Lindsay's excitement to have me as her wedding photographer was so heartwarming. Soon after, with many ins and outs of details, her dad decided to surprise her with me as her wedding photographer. So the plan was back in motion. What was meant to be a 10 minute phone call to talk about a few things, with Lindsay turned into an hour or more or laughing and talking about life. It was crazy how down to earth Lindsay was over the phone, which told me she would be a dream to have as a bride to photograph.
Their wedding day was so true to who Lindsay and Brent are. Fun, energetic, warm and friendly. It was so awesome to be a part of their day and I loved being able to get out of my little bubble on 30A in South Walton to travel to Anna Maria Island. Thank you Brent and Lindsay for the experience and for treating me like family while I was there! Many good wishes to you two in the years to come!
